I was commissioned by my friends & longtime collaborators at Crux Media to design and deliver a 30 second 3D TVC for Solarhub, who give homes across Canberra & NSW access to solar energy.
With a beautiful 3D base model designed by Mami Sakamoto mimicking the supplied aerial footage, I designed a miniature-style virtual set as the backdrop for a 3D-animated solar installation. After an R&D period and a variety of styleframes, we settled on a clean and engaging visual style that highlighted Solarhub’s impact while keeping the focus on the ease and simplicity of their services.
